If you like Shanghai food like XLB, zha jiang mein.... This is the place to go to. It is not on their menu. They have hand-made noodles that are chewy and thick. Their xlb pops in your mouth with delicious soup. I ordered their green onion pancakes as well and it is crispy and chewy and light. I never came here for their regular Chinese food, but I found out they had a Shanghai menu -- it is amazing. Give this place a try, it won't disappoint!

Hidden gem!!! Decor could use help, but the food was fantastic! My new go to Chinese place. Dishes were so authentic. The owners are Chinese-Philipino so there are influences from both cultures. Dishes are packed full of flavor and the prices are ridiculously cheap. About $7 for a plate and the portions are generous. Please note though that this is not your typical Americanized Chinese restaurant where you get a sweet & sour chicken over pork fried rice combo plate kind of place. This is more like Asian home cooking.
We had the most relaxing, thrilling and genuine vacation experience imaginable. The next time, my takeout order was for three dishes at $5.99 each; my calculator told me the bill as presented came to a little more than 10% over $17.97 ($5.99 dishes x 3.)  When I questioned the total bill, the cashier told me it was $17.97 for the food plus tax.  I told him that would make the sales tax over 10%; he told me he charged just what the "bossey" (his term) said to charge.  I reminded him that sales tax in Sacramento is not 10%.  I wrote down the math for him, applying the going sales tax rate and told him the bill was 60 cents more than it should be.  He then said there is a 10 cent charge per takeout container.  I said ok, then I'll pay the bill, less 30 cents, to which he agreed.
