Some people have posted horrible pictures on this yelp review site, but I have never had any issues with the quality of food here, and my mom liked everything and she knows how to cook and had a built in Wok at her last house having taken classes in Chinese cooking.  It seems a lot of people get To-go orders from here I guess they are freaked out by the mostly empty place, I am sure more will come back once Bell-Air is done with construction.

There were 29,299 holiday/summer homes in Scotland on the 2001 Scottish Census, which accounted for 1.3% of Scotland's housing stock.[8] This figure was 19,756 in 1981, but the majority of the increase occurred during the 1990s. The greatest increase was seen in urban areas, contrary to the usual trends, and increased especially in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. But the majority of holiday/second homes are still to be found in rural areas, notably, 47% of these are to be found in the remote rural areas, where one in every eight house is a holiday or second home.[9]

This property is in a perfect location, just a 5 min drive or 15-20 minute walk from the old town and beaches and a 5 min walk to a lidl and mercadona supermarket. The villa is in a private little area accessible only through the properties surrounding the pool. On street parking was always available outside. Everything you need inside: washing machine, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, outside seating front and back of the property, clothes airer, fan, smart tv, dvd player (no HDMI cable so couldn't use it but logged into our netflix account. Joan Marc said it may have gone when the new tv arrived so he will get a new one), wifi. The area is beautiful with the ruins, small and beautiful medieval town, the old town and further along a busier more touristy area but still not massively commercialised. In the surrounding area there are waterparks, watersports, stunning beaches within short driving distance (Montgo). Parking in the area is great, mostly free on the streets, near beaches and free car parks - small areas are pay for parking but mostly in the old town area so makes driving more accessible. The ting ting train runs all the time and is great if you walk along to any of the towns/beaches then don't want to walk back :) One minor downside was that on arrival at the property at 9pm saturday night there had been a misunderstanding with the cleaner and our arrival date so we had no towels or bedding but the lovely man who let us in; Josep couldn't do enough to help and we got some blankets and towels (too hot for anything more than a sheet luckily). We emailed the owner Joan Marc who was abroad himself but he replied very quickly and had a cleaner round first thing in the morning and then the lady who dealt with the bedding and towels arrived and sorted all of that out, he also offered an additional clean if we wanted it in the week but we didn't feel it was necessary, we were just happy it was all sorted so quickly and we could enjoy our holiday.

Majorca is an island for all seasons. If you go in spring you will be able to marvel at the multitude of flowering cherry trees. In summer you have all the festivals and the full on sunshine. If late [more] nights partying under the stars are an important part of your holiday, nightlife in Alcudia is lively. In autumn you can enjoy the excitement of the grape and olive harvests. In September and October the clear turquoise sea will still be warm but a lot less crowded. There are simply no boring bits to Majorca – the whole island is awash with gorgeous sights, tastes and smells, with something amazing around every corner. It is an island for all kinds of people. Head to Palma City for the history, the museums, the shops and the top notch restaurants. It is edgy and arty and full of life – and it’s got a beach. It is easily accessible for day trips from many of our villas, so you can come home to a lovely, peaceful air conditioned bedroom right away from the heat and rush of the city. If you fancy a traditional beach holiday, Alcudia gives you golden sand, a marina, great places to eat and drink and all kinds of water sports including kite-surfing and wind-surfing. It used to be Majorca’s capital so it is also rich in history and culture. [less] Download Majorca resort guide(pdf)

Pros: Hotels offer daily maid service and room services. They are easier to get to due to their locations. Hotels also feature more outside amenities such as pool areas, restaurants, on-site exercise facilities, etc. Hotels also feature more personal safety features when visiting a foreign city for the first time due to their on-site security and central locations.
Owners of holiday homes will occasionally move to their second homes permanently upon retirement, this can be a threat to the culture of an area, especially in Wales where the influx of non-Welsh speakers affects the percentage of Welsh speakers in the area and reduces the use of Welsh in everyday life.[14][15] Hundreds of second homes were burnt between 1979 and the mid-1990s as a part of a campaign by nationalist movement Meibion Glyndŵr to protect the indigenous language and culture.

In other words, its ginormous! Within it you will find the Hidropark, with acres of slides, rides, wave pools and splash pools as well as bouncy castles, trampolines, paintballing, giant floating balls and mini golf. If you are feeling bold, try one of the two 15-metre [more] Kamikaze slides without screaming! Or sample the thrills of the Spiral with its superfast descent ending with a big splash directly into the water. The 1000-square metre Wave Pool generates waves over one metre high – are you ready? When you get peckish the cafe Neptuno will sort you out. Hidropark is open every day from the 1st May to the 31st October from 10.30am. until late afternoon, and it’s free for the under twos.
