This amazing place has the real ‘wow’ factor, we’ve really enjoyed relaxing, swimming, drinking gallons of vino, eating like kings, laughing, pool games, siestas in the afternoons, cooking on the barbecue, making the most of the space and relaxing atmosphere. We visited Cisternino and Martina Franca markets, tasted amazing pecorino and bought kilos of fresh local fruit and vegetables.We dined at Bel Italia in Cisternino, tucked into pizzas in Martina Franca, visited vineyards and olive groves and had several walks in the lanes around the villa picking wild blackberries on the way. It has been 'trulli trulli amazing'."

Wonderfully updated and restored turn of the century "mansion" with pool, high ceilings, air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. The owner/manager was very helpful meeting the first guest to arrive, coming by to check on us and offering helpful information re:stores, restaurants, etc. many within walking distance. The location is far enough from the busy part of town to be quiet yet close enough to walk to (particularly down hill into town). Only minor complaint is that the bathrooms were not "en suite" as they appeared to be in the photos. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I have no hesitancy recommending to others. … see more

This holiday home in L'Escala was wonderful. We stayed for 4 full weeks and there were 5 of us most of the time. This home is very well maintained and everything worked. The beds are comfortable and we were never short of hot water for showers. The kitchen is compact but very adaquate. We all enjoy cooking, consequently, we cooked most of our own meals and some of them were rather elaborate. The location of this home is rather beautiful. The common area with the swiming pool is very well maintained with a beautiful lawn and nice landscaping. The front and back yards of the home are both equiped with table and chairs which made it easy for us to spread out and do our owns things. The yard facing the pool has a good barbeque which proved handy. This property is also within walking distance of 3 good grocery stores and a very nice wine shop. It is also within walking distance of the beach and several local attractions. In addition it is very close to the main highway access for people with a car wanting to explore more of the area. The owner of the property, Joan Marc, is easy to contact by phone or e-mail and is most helpful. We found he dealt with any little problem we encountered quickly and efficiently. He also provided us with lots of ideas for enjoying the local area. We will be recommending this holiday home in L'Escala to all of our friends and neighbors. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. On the way to the Hotel Formentor, this is a semi circular beach with narrow fringes of sand, clear water and thick pinewoods which lead down to the water. It can be very busy as boats also moor here and there is a daily visit from the glass bottom boat with lots of holidaymakers aboard! There are 2 bars on the beach and parking facilities a short walk away.

We stayed at the sunny side for 3 weeks, not only is it a well equipped villa great laundry facillitys vital on a large family holiday. There are large bedrooms most of which have huge ceiling fans, it has a fantastic out side area the pools are wonderful and the BBQ. The out side dinning area is also great. The owners are such nice people and so helpful. John was very very kind to us and kept the pool up to speck for us. The age group went from 4 to 70 including teenagers and all of them absolutely loved. Just up the hill is the supermarket. The restaurants are plentiful.

If we are able to re-rent your dates for said property, all rents will be refunded less a 15% (of all rent due) cancellation fee. The processing & damage fee is non-refundable. The tenant is not responsible for the cleaning charges. Please be advised that under the terms of your lease you are responsible for all rents due. We will do our best to re-rent the property under the same terms as your lease to a new tenant, however, we cannot guarantee re-rental.
