The Caves of Drach or Dragon Caves, just outside the pretty harbour resort of Porto Cristo are among the island's most outstanding tourist attractions. These sensational cool, dark limestone caves are spread over 2,000 metres of spectacular formations of stalactites and stalagmites. As if this wasn’t enough, in the middle is a massive floodlit lake - one of the biggest underground lakes in the world. The hour long tours are highly organised and vast [more] numbers of visitors are 'processed' through the system every day during the summer in groups of several hundred people at a time. Multi-lingual guides give you the lowdown on the weird stalactite formations with names like the Fairies' Theatre and Diana's Bath, before you are treated to a 10 minute classical music recital by a string quartet. After a light show imitating the sunrise you have the option of crossing the lake by boat or on foot over a bridge. [less]
It’s easy to see why Majorca was born to be a top holiday destination with its fabulous beaches, quaint coves, popular resorts, stunning coastal and mountainous scenery and wonderful climate! Majorca is a place of diverse and contrasting resorts, we have villas in chic resorts such as Cala D’or with its magnificent marina. Villas in attractive Puerto Pollensa, lying on a sheltered bay and set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains make a good choice. Alcudia is a lively resort or, for something more peaceful, Pollensa may paint the perfect picture for you. Plenty of resorts to tempt you with!

Majorca is well-loved holiday destination for walkers and cyclists from around the world who come to explore the foothills of the quiet and peaceful Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. There is a thriving cycling culture attracting both the pro teams and road cycling fanatics as well as people cycling for fun and exercise. Rugged mountain trails lead to remote valleys, while carefully signed routes give way to long-forgotten mule tracks and hidden [more] mountain passes. You might pass through sleepy villages, or find yourself on a clifftop gazing town at the turquoise sea. Coastal walks are popular, particularly up towards the Cap de Formentor on the North Easterly Coast of Mallorca. There are even people brave enough to walk or cycle up the hair-raising, twisty road that takes you to the top. If you are lucky you might see or hear some of the indigenous birds of the islands such as vultures, bee-eaters, Audouin's gulls, ospreys, night herons, Eleonara's falcons, scops owls or hoopoes! Please don't eat here or claim this is good or even decent dim sum. My BF's mom noticed that the other table had some better looking beef balls and asked why ours was so red and pink. The dim sum lady was rude af. My BF's mom told her and asked for a new plate that we conveyed we were willing to pay for, we just wanted to see how they compared in color and taste. The dim sum lady basically snapped back saying she knows nothing (I guess she's tryna camo Jon Snow) because she just serves the food and doesn't cook it. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and provide good customer service, she was just being plain rude.
Our experience both with you and at 32 Marble Arch budget Flats has been fantastic. Regarding your customer service I can only say that in our interaction you have been extremely responsive, friendly and helpful; I can only thank you so much. Personnel from reception was very kind and also very helpful, attending our requests. The place itself I consider to be excellent value for money. The room was spacious, well equipped and -except on weekends- with daily cleaning service. The location is simply superb.

That’s why it’s a good idea to list your must haves, as well as the amenities you would like to have – while remembering to keep an open mind.
What a lovely place! This well cared for holiday home is in the centre of a large, Mediterranean garden and in walking distance of the village of Vergèze (300 m). The holiday home is semi-detached to the villa of the very friendly and discrete owners. There is no visual contact with the owners from your private garden. Vergèze is situated between Nîmes (20 km) and Montpellier (41 km) on the foot of the Camargue. You can reach the Mediterranean Sea in half an hour. Go to the seaside resort La Grande Motte (27 km) for some fun on the beach. The medieval city of Aigues-Mortes (23 km) is a cultural landmark, which used to be one of the eight safe places for protestants. Groceries, bakery, tennis and restaurants in Vergèze. 18-Hole golf course at La Grande Motte and at Nîmes (20 km). To take in some culture, make sure to visit the beautiful city of Montpellier with its many points of interest. Some villas have specific days of the week for check-in and checkout, (usually a Saturday) so ensure this fits in with your plans. If you're looking for a 10-day break, for example, you might want to book a week at a villa plus three nights at a hotel.  The same goes for weekend breaks – during peak holiday periods these may not be permitted unless there's a last minute booking or a cancellation.

Owners of holiday homes will occasionally move to their second homes permanently upon retirement, this can be a threat to the culture of an area, especially in Wales where the influx of non-Welsh speakers affects the percentage of Welsh speakers in the area and reduces the use of Welsh in everyday life.[14][15] Hundreds of second homes were burnt between 1979 and the mid-1990s as a part of a campaign by nationalist movement Meibion Glyndŵr to protect the indigenous language and culture.

We stayed at the villa for two weeks in August. We went as two families who are still really good friends!!! We pulled up outside and decided we must have the wrong place as it was a castle! It is very clean and very well equipped. It is obviously a well loved, lived in family holiday home. The beds were very comfy and the air con a must in August. The pool was an amazing 32 degrees and it was lovely to swim in the evening with the lights on. A car is a must. We fished from a boat (and shopped at the markets!) for our supper. Seafood, and fresh fruit and veg are a foodies dream. We all love to shop and cook and spend time together so was our ideal holiday. Loads of games and books so you won't need to take any. We had such an amazing time we have booked to go back next year already. Thankyou Noel and Sue we are counting down the days! … see more

So I have been here a few times, it is slow at dinner, but that if good if you want a more intimate dinner. Came with my mom and brother and his wife and we really enjoyed dinner. Had the Moo shu pork that was very good, the pot stickers Hot and sour soup and 5 pepper Garlic beef, and the Prawns dish. At another table was the owner of a nearby restaurant that I had been to that morning! - But that is for another review.

The next time, my takeout order was for three dishes at $5.99 each; my calculator told me the bill as presented came to a little more than 10% over $17.97 ($5.99 dishes x 3.)  When I questioned the total bill, the cashier told me it was $17.97 for the food plus tax.  I told him that would make the sales tax over 10%; he told me he charged just what the "bossey" (his term) said to charge.  I reminded him that sales tax in Sacramento is not 10%.  I wrote down the math for him, applying the going sales tax rate and told him the bill was 60 cents more than it should be.  He then said there is a 10 cent charge per takeout container.  I said ok, then I'll pay the bill, less 30 cents, to which he agreed.
Found a bug in my food on my last bite, totally disgusted I rushed back immediately to get a refund and the guy acted as if it was a big deal. He didn't apologize or anything! I'm NEVER eating there again and I advise you not to eat there as well unless if you like bugs in your dipping sauce. I'm taking legal action because I got sick from this place too! Save your money it's not worth it!
Holiday cottages are found across the UK, with many destinations from town houses to forests. Many areas in the UK have seen a growth in the Holiday Cottage industry such as the Lake District and Cornwall. There are typically two routes to renting a holiday cottage. Either direct with an owner, or through the auspices of a holiday cottage agency. Several holiday home portals list cottages available direct from the owner, and charge an fee for listing the property.
