Our gardens, studied and imitated, painted and photographed, by generations of garden lovers and landscape architects, are regularly open to visitors. Luxuriously-appointed reception rooms in the historic 17th-century villa, the great ‘stanzone’ of the Lemon House and the garden terraces provide extraordinary venues for conferences, exhibitions, weddings and other special events. The villa and comfortable guest houses offer catered or self-catering accommodations for holiday rentals in Tuscany throughout the year.
Ive been coming here for 7 years already and i keep coming here because their siu mais are very good and their sticky rice tamales are one of the bests ive had. This place has really good service and its not packed to the point where u have to wait in line for food. The restaurant is a very good size and they have an event hall too when they need more room. Price is more reasonable then happy garden and new canton. Parking is easy, and their food is consistant, the same everytime i come. Havent tried dinner here yet though this review is for dim sum only!!
Besides the added space and privacy, you’ll see that vacation rentals are a great value, too, often costing about half what a hotel would cost. If you’re wondering if that savings might come at the expense of comfort and amenities, the answer is not at all. You can kick back on the couch as if it were your own, cook your favorite meals in the kitchen, and check in on friends or colleagues with in-house Wi-Fi.
Yuma's historic downtown began as a rope crossing for the Colorado River in the 1840s. The earliest adobe homes were lost to floods in the early 1900s, and the current buildings along Main Street were built in the 1920s. Because of this, Downtown Yuma has a definite art deco flair, blending with the desert landscape and the palm trees to create a beautifully unique neighborhood. With its fountains and brick-paved walkways, Historic Main Street is the ideal location for festivals and street fairs.
This property is in a perfect location, just a 5 min drive or 15-20 minute walk from the old town and beaches and a 5 min walk to a lidl and mercadona supermarket. The villa is in a private little area accessible only through the properties surrounding the pool. On street parking was always available outside. Everything you need inside: washing machine, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, outside seating front and back of the property, clothes airer, fan, smart tv, dvd player (no HDMI cable so couldn't use it but logged into our netflix account. Joan Marc said it may have gone when the new tv arrived so he will get a new one), wifi. The area is beautiful with the ruins, small and beautiful medieval town, the old town and further along a busier more touristy area but still not massively commercialised. In the surrounding area there are waterparks, watersports, stunning beaches within short driving distance (Montgo). Parking in the area is great, mostly free on the streets, near beaches and free car parks - small areas are pay for parking but mostly in the old town area so makes driving more accessible. The ting ting train runs all the time and is great if you walk along to any of the towns/beaches then don't want to walk back :) One minor downside was that on arrival at the property at 9pm saturday night there had been a misunderstanding with the cleaner and our arrival date so we had no towels or bedding but the lovely man who let us in; Josep couldn't do enough to help and we got some blankets and towels (too hot for anything more than a sheet luckily). We emailed the owner Joan Marc who was abroad himself but he replied very quickly and had a cleaner round first thing in the morning and then the lady who dealt with the bedding and towels arrived and sorted all of that out, he also offered an additional clean if we wanted it in the week but we didn't feel it was necessary, we were just happy it was all sorted so quickly and we could enjoy our holiday.
Four adults stayed and the location was ideal. The pool area was clean and spacious with a lovely garden. The villa was smartly furnished with plenty of space. The bathrooms were also clean, fresh and spacious. The views from the villa and the grounds are fantastic. A car is a must to get around. There are several restaurants and take-aways within a 10 minute drive and Paphos can be reached within a 20 minute drive. We would definitely stay at Villa Rioca again in the future and would highly recommend this property. … see more
We stayed at the villa for two weeks in August. We went as two families who are still really good friends!!! We pulled up outside and decided we must have the wrong place as it was a castle! It is very clean and very well equipped. It is obviously a well loved, lived in family holiday home. The beds were very comfy and the air con a must in August. The pool was an amazing 32 degrees and it was lovely to swim in the evening with the lights on. A car is a must. We fished from a boat (and shopped at the markets!) for our supper. Seafood, and fresh fruit and veg are a foodies dream. We all love to shop and cook and spend time together so was our ideal holiday. Loads of games and books so you won't need to take any. We had such an amazing time we have booked to go back next year already. Thankyou Noel and Sue we are counting down the days! … see more

Whether it's juicy olives and sun-ripened tomatoes, fresh-caught fish or hand-cured meats, you'll find them all in Majorca's bustling markets - as well as a great selection of handicrafts and souvenirs. Most markets in Majorca take place in the morning and go on until about 1.30pm - get there early if you want to avoid the crowds! Find out more about local markets in our Majorca resort guide.
The third takeout order (Christmas time 2017) resulted in same 20 cents per plate overcharge and the same exchange, this time with a female (she carried herself as though she was the "bossey):  "$5.99 plus tax, she said;" "That would make the tax over 10%;"  "Well, we charge 10 cents for each takeout container;"  "Ok then, I'll pay your bill less 10 cents per order."  The lady  had to agree.
Vacations rentals are also a great way to really immerse yourself in a destination. Explore beyond the tourist hubs when you stay in a bustling neighborhood among the locals or plant yourself in a condo downtown to stay close to museums, sights and nightlife. Book a spacious beachfront villa to soak up some sun or reserve a secluded cabin to breath in that crisp mountain air. The possibilities are endless. With a vacation rental, it’s always your vacation, your way.
If you need a break from all this holiday relaxation in just an hour you can be in the island’s surprisingly sophisticated capital, Palma. Half of Majorca's 600,000 population live in this commercial and cultural centre, making the most of the rich history, culture and shopping. Most of the historic centre is traffic-free. You will find a lively cafe society reminiscent of Barcelona, as well as a thriving arts scene and stylish, sophisticated nightlife. [more] It is easy to spend a day drifting between shops, pavement cafés and museums. The city is dominated by La Seu Cathedral, a Gothic epic that took almost 400 years to build, on the site of a mosque and before that a Roman temple. Just to the east of the cathedral is a beach with a cycle path and promenade. For designer clothes try Jaume III, Palma’s equivalent to London’s Bond Street and for a superb choice of restaurants, head for the harbour. [less]

Baron Group Malta was the brain child of two young Gozitan entrepreneurs with a passion for architecture and, above all, the island of Gozo. Their dream was to transmit the architectural heritage left by our forefathers for our generation and future ones, plus foreigners from around the world, to enjoy and appreciate such a rich culture which distinguishes our small island. We offer unique accommodations and the possibility to flavour the Gozitan way of living.
