Mais la Normandie est également très appréciée pour sa campagne verdoyante, les vergers du Calvados, pour son beau littoral et ses falaises, ainsi que pour ses villes portuaires telles Honfleur et ses villes mondaines comme Trouville. Me and My Wife plus grandson aged (9) stayed at the villa. The villa is extremely well equiped and located in the premier part of the island. Our grandson loved the two pools and actually learnt to swim complete lengths here. The facility to sit out early for breakfast is what the Med is all about. An extremely friendly family run the villa. Local shops and restaurants close by. (We are returning May 2012).

The outside space was amazing, very large secluded garden with loads of seating areas and the best pool (heated) we have ever had. The villa was furnished to an exceptional standard, with many extras included e.g. free wi-fi, sky tv with hundreds of films & hairdryers. The villa was far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough (10mns) for walking to restaurants in the Old Town at night. We were pleasantly surprised to have a maid service in the middle of our week and the pool was cleaned mid week too. Great to have an owner who called our first night to make sure everything was ok, and called again on our last night to check all was well.
