Majorca is an island for all seasons. If you go in spring you will be able to marvel at the multitude of flowering cherry trees. In summer you have all the festivals and the full on sunshine. If late [more] nights partying under the stars are an important part of your holiday, nightlife in Alcudia is lively. In autumn you can enjoy the excitement of the grape and olive harvests. In September and October the clear turquoise sea will still be warm but a lot less crowded. There are simply no boring bits to Majorca – the whole island is awash with gorgeous sights, tastes and smells, with something amazing around every corner. It is an island for all kinds of people. If you’re looking for a villa with private pool, France has plenty to choose from. Book a break in rural Normandy where you can explore ancient chateaus, or set your tastebuds alight at a  fromagerie in Graindorge: a cheese-lover’s paradise. France’s cuisine is one of the finest in the world so, if you’re a self-confessed foodie (who also likes to swim!), there are hundreds of holiday homes with private pools to choose from.

The Caves of Drach or Dragon Caves, just outside the pretty harbour resort of Porto Cristo are among the island's most outstanding tourist attractions. These sensational cool, dark limestone caves are spread over 2,000 metres of spectacular formations of stalactites and stalagmites. As if this wasn’t enough, in the middle is a massive floodlit lake - one of the biggest underground lakes in the world. The hour long tours are highly organised and vast [more] numbers of visitors are 'processed' through the system every day during the summer in groups of several hundred people at a time. Multi-lingual guides give you the lowdown on the weird stalactite formations with names like the Fairies' Theatre and Diana's Bath, before you are treated to a 10 minute classical music recital by a string quartet. After a light show imitating the sunrise you have the option of crossing the lake by boat or on foot over a bridge. [less]
Spacious premier suite room. Amazing bathroom (my son loved it so much). Stunning views from our room and the infinity pool. Just a road away from KSL shopping mall. I love the prompt check in and out service, amazing bell boy and prompt response time when we ask for housekeeping. Many restaurants around the hotel. GREAT Thai Odyssey massage at level 6 and hair saloon at ground level (look for jack if you’re there). Very nice nasi lemak for breakfast.
Take a breathtaking mountain drive through the Sierra Almijara and Tejeda ranges or wander around some of Andalusia's famous 'white villages' such as Frigiliana - a restored Roman town with narrow vehicle-free cobbled streets and Maro - the picturesque village with panoramic views across the sea and a secluded beach. The historic city of Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace (booking essential), Malaga, Puerto Banus, Mijas, Antequera and the El Torcal National Park are all excellent options for those looking for day trips.
There were 29,299 holiday/summer homes in Scotland on the 2001 Scottish Census, which accounted for 1.3% of Scotland's housing stock.[8] This figure was 19,756 in 1981, but the majority of the increase occurred during the 1990s. The greatest increase was seen in urban areas, contrary to the usual trends, and increased especially in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. But the majority of holiday/second homes are still to be found in rural areas, notably, 47% of these are to be found in the remote rural areas, where one in every eight house is a holiday or second home.[9]
When planning villa rentals, it’s important to consider what you want from your holiday. Do you want to relax around the pool and fit in sightseeing at a leisurely pace, or is a central location that minimises the travelling distance to major sights your top priority? That’s why it’s a good idea to list your must haves, as well as the amenities you would like to have – while remembering to keep an open mind.

I looked at the other reviews. I am all for a clean kitchen but I think people are unrealistically unaware of the fact that all restaurants have bug problems (but pay for pest control to keep it down) and use spoiled veggies to reduce costs (yet hopefully weed through them well). My brother worked at a Round Table pizza in town before where they used tomatoes covered in mold for the marinara sauce. Don't be deceived by good interior decorating. Also, this place is a family business, not the McDonalds drive thru. Don't go here if you are in a hurry.
The outside space was amazing, very large secluded garden with loads of seating areas and the best pool (heated) we have ever had. The villa was furnished to an exceptional standard, with many extras included e.g. free wi-fi, sky tv with hundreds of films & hairdryers. The villa was far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough (10mns) for walking to restaurants in the Old Town at night. We were pleasantly surprised to have a maid service in the middle of our week and the pool was cleaned mid week too. Great to have an owner who called our first night to make sure everything was ok, and called again on our last night to check all was well. Eric (the owner) was really helpful and easily contactable. … see more

Please don't eat here or claim this is good or even decent dim sum. My BF's mom noticed that the other table had some better looking beef balls and asked why ours was so red and pink. The dim sum lady was rude af. My BF's mom told her and asked for a new plate that we conveyed we were willing to pay for, we just wanted to see how they compared in color and taste. The dim sum lady basically snapped back saying she knows nothing (I guess she's tryna camo Jon Snow) because she just serves the food and doesn't cook it. Instead of trying to resolve the issue and provide good customer service, she was just being plain rude.
My only Critique is that the Chef cooks the garlic a tad too much for the 5 pepper beef, and I would love it is he read this and did not toast them that much, possibly tossing it all in a wok to mix it up and the garlic may stick to the Deep fried beef more, and not enough of the 5 peppers was added to our dish tonight. The menu said Pan fried, but it is deep fried, but the beef is very tender.
We rented the house for two weeks for a family with one child. First of all, Joan Marc is very passionate about his house and you feel he really cares about what he is offering to you for rent. That nice passion passes too. Joan Marc was very helpful at the time we were still considering where and what to rent as well as before and at the time of our arrival. All information and recommendation were very helpful and proved useful. The house is nice and convenient. Everything at the house and all the appliances were working very well. Internet connection was perfect (important for those who has to work during the vacation). The house still has some fashion charm, and we especially liked the wooden sun blinds. The back yard / garden is a closed area which is being kept clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is just excellent, especially for kids (but is enjoyable for adults too). It is clean and safe, and was very helpful when it was windy by the sea. The more we were staying in the house, the more we liked it. The house is located close to a few supermarkets and beaches, though we were always using a car to go there (mostly because it was a bit too hot to walk around around mid-day). L'Escala is a lovely town, very conveniently located if one wants to travel around Costa Brava and northern Catalunya. There are so many nice places within about one up to two hours drive. There are also many nice places to visit in L'Escala itself. Recommendations of Joan Marc re restaurants proved to be excellent - local cuisine in L'Escala is second to none. The house is definitely one of the best vacation houses available in L'Escala. We were very happy that we spent our vacation in the house, and we would highly recommend it.

The beaches in the north of the island include long sandy stretches plus a few small coves which are great for snorkelling and swimming. The beaches on the east coast vary from long stretches of sandy beach to smaller coves where you can escape the crowds. The west offers a mountainous coastline with tiny hidden pebbly coves (some only accessible by boat). The south coast has more commercialised beaches which offer a host of activities.

Thanks for writing, and for having arranged for us the apartment 9 Murray Hill at 39th We could hardly have been more pleased. I particularly want to commend the housekeeper Josefina (I believe that's correct) and doorman Haranth (also a guess at spelling), Dennis and Stanley and Brenda at the desk, and others whose names I missed (all of the staff, actually, were cordial and helpful).

Yuma's historic downtown began as a rope crossing for the Colorado River in the 1840s. The earliest adobe homes were lost to floods in the early 1900s, and the current buildings along Main Street were built in the 1920s. Because of this, Downtown Yuma has a definite art deco flair, blending with the desert landscape and the palm trees to create a beautifully unique neighborhood. With its fountains and brick-paved walkways, Historic Main Street is the ideal location for festivals and street fairs.
Wonderfully updated and restored turn of the century "mansion" with pool, high ceilings, air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. The owner/manager was very helpful meeting the first guest to arrive, coming by to check on us and offering helpful information re:stores, restaurants, etc. many within walking distance. The location is far enough from the busy part of town to be quiet yet close enough to walk to (particularly down hill into town). Only minor complaint is that the bathrooms were not "en suite" as they appeared to be in the photos. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I have no hesitancy recommending to others. … see more

"We’ve had a most wonderful time - the house is so beautiful and so comfortable - sad to have to leave what feels like home after only one week. The area, so different from the Italy I know, it really is so beautiful (we were here at just the right time for all the spring flowers) and fascinating. I’m sure it’ll be a source of inspiration for many more - as it was for my painting. It really captured my imagination."

The quality of the pool can make or break your villa holiday. So before booking, check the size of the pool, whether it is heated and if so, whether you have to pay to switch the heating on? If you're holidaying with children, check too that the pool has a shallow end and a shelved entrance or steps for toddlers. Other factors to consider include whether the pool is exclusive to your villa or shared with other properties, and whether there enough sun beds for everyone travelling.

The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed with en-suite shower room; the second bedroom, a zip-and-link king size bed with en-suite shower room; the third bedroom has a zip-and-link super-king size bed and finally, the fourth bedroom has two single beds. This property is in a perfect location, just a 5 min drive or 15-20 minute walk from the old town and beaches and a 5 min walk to a lidl and mercadona supermarket. The villa is in a private little area accessible only through the properties surrounding the pool. On street parking was always available outside. Everything you need inside: washing machine, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, outside seating front and back of the property, clothes airer, fan, smart tv, dvd player (no HDMI cable so couldn't use it but logged into our netflix account. Joan Marc said it may have gone when the new tv arrived so he will get a new one), wifi. The area is beautiful with the ruins, small and beautiful medieval town, the old town and further along a busier more touristy area but still not massively commercialised. In the surrounding area there are waterparks, watersports, stunning beaches within short driving distance (Montgo). Parking in the area is great, mostly free on the streets, near beaches and free car parks - small areas are pay for parking but mostly in the old town area so makes driving more accessible. The ting ting train runs all the time and is great if you walk along to any of the towns/beaches then don't want to walk back :) One minor downside was that on arrival at the property at 9pm saturday night there had been a misunderstanding with the cleaner and our arrival date so we had no towels or bedding but the lovely man who let us in; Josep couldn't do enough to help and we got some blankets and towels (too hot for anything more than a sheet luckily). We emailed the owner Joan Marc who was abroad himself but he replied very quickly and had a cleaner round first thing in the morning and then the lady who dealt with the bedding and towels arrived and sorted all of that out, he also offered an additional clean if we wanted it in the week but we didn't feel it was necessary, we were just happy it was all sorted so quickly and we could enjoy our holiday.
