Overseas transactions must be paid in US funds through a US bank, with any and all fees associated with payment being the sole responsibility of the TENANT. The processing and damage fee are required on all leases. Final payment and cleaning fees are due 30 days prior to your arrival. A late payment fee of $25 will be applied to all late payments.

The next time, my takeout order was for three dishes at $5.99 each; my calculator told me the bill as presented came to a little more than 10% over $17.97 ($5.99 dishes x 3.)  When I questioned the total bill, the cashier told me it was $17.97 for the food plus tax.  I told him that would make the sales tax over 10%; he told me he charged just what the "bossey" (his term) said to charge.  I reminded him that sales tax in Sacramento is not 10%.  I wrote down the math for him, applying the going sales tax rate and told him the bill was 60 cents more than it should be.  He then said there is a 10 cent charge per takeout container.  I said ok, then I'll pay the bill, less 30 cents, to which he agreed.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Fernandina Beach has commenced the beach renoursishment project and many areas of the beach will be affected.  Equipment for the next scheduled maintenance dredging is now set up in the Dolphin Street parking lot at Main Beach. The beach renourishment project began in 2017 but ended before completion due to sea turtle season. The dredging will begin again in December 2018 and will last approximately three months. The beach will remain open to residents and visitors outside the work areas, with piping being buried as much as possible. The Dolphin Street parking lot will be closed until cleared of equipment along with some private and rental property beach access.

We stayed at the sunny side for 3 weeks, not only is it a well equipped villa great laundry facillitys vital on a large family holiday. There are large bedrooms most of which have huge ceiling fans, it has a fantastic out side area the pools are wonderful and the BBQ. The out side dinning area is also great. The owners are such nice people and so helpful. John was very very kind to us and kept the pool up to speck for us. The age group went from 4 to 70 including teenagers and all of them absolutely loved. Just up the hill is the supermarket. The restaurants are plentiful.

Me and My Wife plus grandson aged (9) stayed at the villa. The villa is extremely well equiped and located in the premier part of the island. Our grandson loved the two pools and actually learnt to swim complete lengths here. The facility to sit out early for breakfast is what the Med is all about. An extremely friendly family run the villa. Local shops and restaurants close by. (We are returning May 2012).
