The third takeout order (Christmas time 2017) resulted in same 20 cents per plate overcharge and the same exchange, this time with a female (she carried herself as though she was the "bossey): "$5.99 plus tax, she said;" "That would make the tax over 10%;" "Well, we charge 10 cents for each takeout container;" "Ok then, I'll pay your bill less 10 cents per order." The lady had to agree.

My only Critique is that the Chef cooks the garlic a tad too much for the 5 pepper beef, and I would love it is he read this and did not toast them that much, possibly tossing it all in a wok to mix it up and the garlic may stick to the Deep fried beef more, and not enough of the 5 peppers was added to our dish tonight. The menu said Pan fried, but it is deep fried, but the beef is very tender.

Luxury ground floor, 4 double bedroomed self-catering apartment with stunning sea views, has 1 super king-size bedded bedroom, 1 king-size bedded bedroom, 1 zip-and-link bedded room, 1 twin bedded room and 3 bathrooms. A travel cot and highchair are available for babies too. It also has a large balcony overlooking the sea, a south facing courtyard at the rear and a large utility room which is great for drying clothes, housing dogs and all their requirements.

We stayed in this villa with family and friends and children aged 7 to 15. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. The Pool is fantastic and suitable for all age groups. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We all had a fantastic holiday in this villa and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Would advise to hire a car to explore the island, but the owners are more than willing to help you with this. The pictures on the website do not do it justice.

Belle Vue Apartments is probably the largest holiday resort complex in Europe, covering an area of 150,000 square metres in the Port d'Alcudia, housing 1,474 visitors across 17 buildings. Within it you will find the Hidropark, with acres of slides, rides, wave pools and splash pools as well as bouncy castles, trampolines, paintballing, giant floating balls and mini golf. If you are feeling bold, try one of the two 15-metre [more] Kamikaze slides without screaming! Or sample the thrills of the Spiral with its superfast descent ending with a big splash directly into the water. The 1000-square metre Wave Pool generates waves over one metre high – are you ready? When you get peckish the cafe Neptuno will sort you out. Hidropark is open every day from the 1st May to the 31st October from 10.30am. until late afternoon, and it’s free for the under twos.
On Monday the 7th of January, the Rethymnon group of the Cretan International Community will meet at 11:00 am for their monthly Coffee Morning.
