What a lovely place! This well cared for holiday home is in the centre of a large, Mediterranean garden and in walking distance of the village of Vergèze (300 m). The holiday home is semi-detached to the villa of the very friendly and discrete owners. There is no visual contact with the owners from your private garden. Vergèze is situated between Nîmes (20 km) and Montpellier (41 km) on the foot of the Camargue. You can reach the Mediterranean Sea in half an hour. Go to the seaside resort La Grande Motte (27 km) for some fun on the beach. The medieval city of Aigues-Mortes (23 km) is a cultural landmark, which used to be one of the eight safe places for protestants. Groceries, bakery, tennis and restaurants in Vergèze. 18-Hole golf course at La Grande Motte and at Nîmes (20 km). To take in some culture, make sure to visit the beautiful city of Montpellier with its many points of interest. In the Roman era, the city of Nîmes was an important city, from which its many ruins and an impressive arena are reminders.

We go here ALL the time. Always on weekends for Dim Sum. We have always tried to get Dim Sum when we go to a new city, but it never beats this place. Their sticky rice is the best! They don't speak very good English, but they give amazing service!! They know us so well now and take care of us when we come in! I love the fact that they have reusable plastic chopstick because that is so much better for the environment! If you have never had Dim Sum and you like pork and shrimp you should get Har Gow and Shu Mai. Also the BBQ pork rice noodle is AMAZING and please get the sticky rice.

This amazing place has the real ‘wow’ factor, we’ve really enjoyed relaxing, swimming, drinking gallons of vino, eating like kings, laughing, pool games, siestas in the afternoons, cooking on the barbecue, making the most of the space and relaxing atmosphere. We visited Cisternino and Martina Franca markets, tasted amazing pecorino and bought kilos of fresh local fruit and vegetables.We dined at Bel Italia in Cisternino, tucked into pizzas in Martina Franca, visited vineyards and olive groves and had several walks in the lanes around the villa picking wild blackberries on the way. It has been 'trulli trulli amazing'."
My only Critique is that the Chef cooks the garlic a tad too much for the 5 pepper beef, and I would love it is he read this and did not toast them that much, possibly tossing it all in a wok to mix it up and the garlic may stick to the Deep fried beef more, and not enough of the 5 peppers was added to our dish tonight. The menu said Pan fried, but it is deep fried, but the beef is very tender.
