It also has a large balcony overlooking the sea, a south facing courtyard at the rear and a large utility room which is great for drying clothes, housing dogs and all their requirements.
On Monday the 7th of January, the Rethymnon group of the Cretan International Community will meet at 11:00 am for their monthly Coffee Morning. Ive been coming here for 7 years already and i keep coming here because their siu mais are very good and their sticky rice tamales are one of the bests ive had. This place has really good service and its not packed to the point where u have to wait in line for food. The restaurant is a very good size and they have an event hall too when they need more room. Price is more reasonable then happy garden and new canton. Parking is easy, and their food is consistant, the same everytime i come. Havent tried dinner here yet though this review is for dim sum only!!
When it comes to choosing the date of your villa holiday, remember that weeks in the school holidays get booked up very early – some of the best villas are booked 12 months in advance. So be prepared to book early to get the accommodation you want, or to be flexible and change your dates. Also, check your flight times. Most villas need to be vacated in the morning and are not available for new arrivals until late afternoon. So try to time your flights or ferries accordingly to prevent having to hang around.
My move to Kansas was a smooth transition, partly because of Holiday Apartments. Their website quote "home away from home" has truly felt like it, and it is in the perfect place with a nice, quiet environment. The staff treated me well during my application and move-in process, and they made sure my apartment was set in good condition. It's at a perfect place, too, right next to the highway yet still close to central Lawrence, as well as the library and the grocery store.

Horrible customer service. The food is no different from the bad service. There's only one little old lady who speaks english. The owner is a rude older man who doesn't speak english, but he yells at the workers non stop in front of the costumers. The owner changed his clothes and started working out in the restaurant while I was waiting for my food. Never going back I do not recommend this place.

The outside space was amazing, very large secluded garden with loads of seating areas and the best pool (heated) we have ever had. The villa was furnished to an exceptional standard, with many extras included e.g. free wi-fi, sky tv with hundreds of films & hairdryers. The villa was far enough out of town to be quiet but close enough (10mns) for walking to restaurants in the Old Town at night. We were pleasantly surprised to have a maid service in the middle of our week and the pool was cleaned mid week too. Great to have an owner who called our first night to make sure everything was ok, and called again on our last night to check all was well. This holiday home in L'Escala was wonderful. We stayed for 4 full weeks and there were 5 of us most of the time. This home is very well maintained and everything worked. The beds are comfortable and we were never short of hot water for showers. The kitchen is compact but very adaquate. We all enjoy cooking, consequently, we cooked most of our own meals and some of them were rather elaborate. The location of this home is rather beautiful. The common area with the swiming pool is very well maintained with a beautiful lawn and nice landscaping. The front and back yards of the home are both equiped with table and chairs which made it easy for us to spread out and do our owns things. The yard facing the pool has a good barbeque which proved handy. This property is also within walking distance of 3 good grocery stores and a very nice wine shop. It is also within walking distance of the beach and several local attractions. In addition it is very close to the main highway access for people with a car wanting to explore more of the area. The owner of the property, Joan Marc, is easy to contact by phone or e-mail and is most helpful. We found he dealt with any little problem we encountered quickly and efficiently. He also provided us with lots of ideas for enjoying the local area. We will be recommending this holiday home in L'Escala to all of our friends and neighbors. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
